OverallFreelancecards.com is a community site for Freelance / Entrepreneurs, and Designers to share business cards in a visual gallery format. Members can share their company information and upload their business card for submission to the gallery. Designers can view the business cards for graphic reference by searching by tags or categories. Businesses or Entrepreneurs can find Freelancers by tags and categories, such as web design, music, art, fashion, etc. A frontend Publisher account was created to enable quick and easy content updates using the site software' work like WSYWIG editor. Technology & DesignThe site uses an open-source site software, Wordpress, which allows for additional features and content expandability as the site grows. Content is updated using the WSYWIG editor of the site software. Additionally, Fireworks CS, Dreamweaver CS to develop aspects of the site. The site is fully compliant with all of the latest web standards as the layout uses CSS templates. The sitemap can be exported as an XML sitemap so that it can be used and validated by google.com. Ensuring the site was fully SEO friendly was essential to the client, so all the page names, site map, content, and METAtags are setup to maximize the SEO potential of the domain.
